
Biography
Brigitte Hürlimann, born in Basel in 1963, lives and works in Zurich. She holds a doctorate in law and is an editor at the online magazine Republik, where she is primarily responsible for court reports and legal topics. She previously worked for many years at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. She has received several awards for her journalistic texts. In 2019, she was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Bern. Brigitte Hürlimann is the author of «Als die Schweiz ins Schwitzen kam. Die Klimaseniorinnen», with Cordelia Bähr and Elisabeth Stern.
