
Biography
Cordelia Bähr, born in 1981 in St. Gallen, is a Zurich-based lawyer with a passion for climate science. She is the mastermind behind the Climate Seniors and lead lawyer on the case. Cordelia Bähr was included in “Nature’s 10” for her role as lead counsel in the climate seniors’ case against Switzerland, as one of ten people who have helped shape science in 2024. She was also included by TIME in the TIME100-Liste of the most influential people in 2025. In her laudatory speech, Katharine Hayhoe wrote: ‘With science, law, and relentless determination, Bähr didn’t just fight for justice — she redefined it.’ Cordelia Bähr is the author of “Als die Schweiz ins Schwitzen kam. Die Klimaseniorinnen”, together with Brigitte Hürlimann and Elisabeth Stern.
