Biography

Born in Solothurn in 1965, he grew up bilingual as the child of Italian parents. He studied German and Romance languages and literature in Zurich and Florence, graduating with a thesis on Günter Eich. Since 2007 he has been a lecturer in German and didactics at the University of Teacher Education (FHNW). He is married, father of two children and lives in Solothurn. 2023 he has been awarded the Solothurn Art Prize.
