Biography

Patrick Rérat is Professor of Mobility Geography at the University of Lausanne, where he is also Director of the Research Unit on Cycling and Active Mobility (OUVEMA). He holds a PhD from the University of Neuchâtel and has been a visiting scholar at King’s College London, HafenCity University Hamburg and Loughborough University. His research focuses on bicycle use and policy. «Velowende. Für eine lebendige Stadt» was written together with Ursula Wyss, Christine Lehmann and Michael Liebi and describes what the cities of tomorrow could look like.
