Biography

Born 1976 in Langenthal. Poet, translator, artist, editor and critic, studied Philosophy, Creative Writing and English at the University of South Florida. Since 2018 he has been Associate Professor of Creative Writing and Director of the MA / MFA programme in Creative Writing & Publishing at the University of Lincoln. Numerous book publications as author and translator of Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Robert Walser, Michael Fehr and others in German and English-speaking countries. Latest publication in German: ‘HIMMEL-BIMMELBAM-BAM’, edition taberna kritika, Bern 2022 and ‘Ein Heim für Problemkinder’ will be published by Der Gesunde Menschenversand in autumn 2025.
