Biography

Jeannette Hunziker, born in 1985, lives and works as a writer and artist in Bern. After studying at the Literature Institute in Biel, she travelled extensively in the East, where she learned the art of drinking tea, among other things. For many years she has been practising and teaching yoga under wisdom teachers from the past and present, a yoga that respects its own tradition and transcends the western self-image. She is also kept by a garden, does editing as well as transcribing work and is co-organiser of the Festival of Art at the Old Crematorium Bern. In 2022, she was awarded the City of Bern’s “Weitererschreiben-Stipendium”. Her debut novel “Für immer alles” is published by Lenos Verlag on 31 August 2024.
